Position Summary: North Central Missouri College is seeking a full-time 9-month tenure-track Life Science Instructor beginning August 2025. The successful candidate will be qualified to teach the full range of college-level freshman and sophomore life science courses including Human Anatomy and Physiology.

• Maintain current subject-matter knowledge as well as effective teaching and learning strategies.

Qualifications:
Education: A Master’s degree or higher in a biological science or a Master’s degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate credits in Biology or biological science.
Experience: Teaching experience at the post-secondary level, including teaching with technology, is preferred.
Physical Demands: Moving about the building; reaching, pulling, and pushing when filing; able to do repetitive tasks; remain stationary at a desk while typing and answering phones; facilitate instruction in a classroom setting for extended periods of time.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Masters in nursing preferred. Faculty hired without a Master’s in nursing are required to actively pursue their Master’s Degree in Nursing within three years of employment and complete the degree within give years. Experience: Experience in nursing education preferred. Must have a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
