Description:  The Richmond R-XVI School District is seeking applications for a high school special education teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. K-12 Special Education certification is required. Experience teaching special education utilizing the co-teaching model is preferred. The candidate needs to possess knowledge, experience and expertise in teaching students with disabilities, as well as, demonstrate competency and compliance in the special education process. The ability to communicate with students, parents and colleagues is essential. The Richmond R-XVI School District is an accredited school district and uses the Professional Learning Communities model for professional development. Richmond is located approximately 45 miles northeast of Downtown Kansas City, MO with just under 6,000 residents and a PreK-12 population of approximately 1450.
