| Description: | The Southwest R-5 School District is accepting applications for principal of Southwest High School for the 2020-2021 school year. SWH offers one-to-one technology with the use of Google Chromebooks including Google Drive, Google Classroom and all Google Web-based applications. SWH shares the philosophies of Professional Learning Communities, District Continuous Improvement, and High Schools That Work with a student population of 220. Duties include instructional leadership, supervision, and the evaluation of certified and classified building level staff, student discipline, and leading professional learning in a collaborative manner. In addition, applicant is required to supervise all high school extra-curricular activities including evenings, weekends, and holiday tournaments. Salary will be commensurate with experience and education. To be considered for the position, applicants must hold or qualify for a valid Missouri High School Principal Certification. The campus is in Washburn, Missouri, in the far southwest corner of Missouri near the Arkansas border. Southwest is comprised of the towns of Washburn and Seligman, Missouri located near Roaring River State Park, Table Rock Lake, and Northwest Arkansas.
