| Description: | The Aurora R-VIII School District is currently accepting applications for the position of High School Principal for the 2022-2023 school year. Applicants must demonstrate a student-centered philosophy on education and leadership; exhibit proficiency regarding quality instructional practices and classroom technology integration; and provide leadership to staff regarding improvement of student achievement. Candidates must, in addition, have an understanding of budget development and implementation. A working knowledge of the NEE evaluation process would be a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this position. Applicants must hold appropriate certification. Benefits include a Board-paid health insurance stipend, paid personal/sick leave and vacation days.
