| Description: | Chadwick RI School District is seeking applicants for a Special Education Director/part time Assistant Principal for the 2024-2025 school year. Duties and Responsibilities include: Assist the principal in the overall administration of the school, help establish and maintain an effective learning climate in the school, assume responsibility for student discipline, assist the building principal in monitoring student attendance, conduct teacher evaluations, supervise student activities and other administrative duties as needed. Responsibilities of the Director of Special Services include: 1. Director of Special Education A. Evaluate and supervise certified Special Education instructors. B. Evaluate and supervise para-professionals. D. Complete evaluations for district's special education students. E. Evaluate IEPs for the district's special education students. Chadwick operates on a four day district calendar and has an enrollment of 300+ students. All applicants shall have at least three years teaching experience, a minimum of a Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education, and a certificate from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in the area of administration. .
