| Description: | West Plains Public Schools is currently seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of elementary school counselor for the 2023-2024 school year. Certification by Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Elementary Counseling K-8 or the ability to obtain such certification is a requirement of the successful candidate. West Plains Elementary houses approximately 750 students grades PK-4. Successful candidate will possess the ability to actively work with students and encouraging them throughout the learning process helping them achieve their maximum potential. Candidates should have a working knowledge of Missouri's Comprehensive School Counseling Programs as well as testing procedures. The successful candidate(s) will also be able to interpret and utilize data to support decisions.
