| Description: | Crocker R-II School District is seeking a cross-categorical Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants must have strong instructional skills and an understanding of content standards at the primary level within a teaching setting. The applicant must recognize that all children learn differently and demonstrate the ability to offer differentiated instruction to each individual student. The special education teacher will be required to plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students with disabilities in a variety of educational settings. The person in this position is responsible for creating a flexible program and learning environment that provides specialized instruction for students with disabilities, such that the students benefit from the general education curriculum to the greatest extent possible when supported with supplemental aides, accommodations, and other needed supports. The person will be expected to adhere to federal, state, and local laws when developing, writing, and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEP). Potential coaching opportunities may be available. | |
