| Description: | PRIMARY TASKS & MAJOR ACTIVITIES The Cameron R-I School District is accepting applications for a school social worker for the 2022-2023 school year. We are seeking an individual to partner with families, teachers and other professionals to create a safe and supportive learning environment for students by improving social, emotional and behavioral needs. The school social worker shall be responsible for assessing needs, coordinating resources, communicating effectively and providing direct and indirect services to meet student and family needs. EDUCATIONAL/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Applicants must have appropriate Missouri Licensure in the area of social work. Masters degree is preferred. Willingness to understand and support the District's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan. Must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the Board of Education. | |
