| Description: | Cross Categorical Special Education Teacher: 2024-2025 school year. We are looking for a highly qualified, innovative, and motivated teacher. The professional must be able to cooperatively work with others as part of a team, must understand developmental learning levels of all ages, and be willing to work on professional development skills to stay updated on current and effective teaching standards and protocols. Professionals that apply must have knowledge of special education process, paperwork, and assessments; organizational skills that allow that all mandated timelines will be met; and the ability to implement individualized education programs. The teacher must be aware and be able to teach content-core standard, maintain the high quality standards of the district, and develop and implement curriculum standards. Avenue City School is currently growing in number of students. Avenue City offers competitive salaries, excellent location, small student/teacher ratio, and a positive learning environment.
