Description:  KVC Teachers are responsible for teaching students academic and social skills in a private educational system, collaborating closely with therapists, teacher assistants, youth care specialists, adjunctive therapists, and other treatment team members. They engage in regular communication with external contacts, including parents/guardians, schools, treatment providers, and referral agency personnel, discussing the child's needs and progress. Schedule: •Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM •No afterschool hours required. Compensation: •$37,000 - $50,000 annually, depending on education and experience **Starting salaries vary based on license status, education, and experience. In addition to sick and personal days...Holidays, snow days, winter/spring/summer break will be scheduled off, with full-pay, as this is a salaried position. Education: •Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field Licensure/Certification: •Teacher I: Missouri Department of Education Substitute Certification or actively working towards acquiring certification. •Teacher II: State of Missouri License to teach Requirements: •Must be 21 years old to apply •Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required •Valid driver's license •Valid auto insurance
