Position: Speech/Language Pathologist Location: Lathrop High School and Lathrop Middle School Job Type: Part-time Job Description: The Lathrop R-II School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech/Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with educators and other professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders among students. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in providing intervention services to support students in achieving their communication goals and maximizing their academic potential. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders among students. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals. Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement effective intervention strategies and support students' communication skills across various educational settings. Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of assessment results, progress reports, and treatment plans. Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for certification. State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with school-aged children preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
