| Description: | Putnam County Middle School is currently seeking applicants to fill a teaching vacancy in our Middle School Language Arts Department for the 2025-2026 school year. Qualified candidates will be responsible for planning lessons, carrying out effective instruction, evaluating student progress, and maintaining classroom management to ensure student engagement and learning. PCR-I students are one-to-one with Chromebooks grades 2-12 and all teachers use Google Suite in their classrooms. Coaching and or sponsorship opportunities could be an option with this position if interested. Applications should be turned in by February 21, 2025, but will be accepted until the position is filled. Guaranteed on-site daycare is available at our Learning Center for staff children ages birth-4. The successful candidate should hold a valid Missouri teacher’s certificate in 6-8 English. The start date for this position is early August 2025. Our minimum 2025-26 base teacher salary will be $40,000.
