| Description: | Hallsville High School is seeking candidates for an FFA advisor and Agriculture Education teacher expansion position for the 2021-2022 school year. Hallsville, MO is located 15 miles north of Columbia and has a high school enrollment of 400+ students currently. The Ag Ed program and the FFA chapter have experienced growth over the last few years with an outstanding projected course requests for next school year. This opening is a newly created position that will work closely with the current Ag Ed teacher. Hallsville is seeking applicants who are willing to teach a variety of AgEd courses such as welding, small engines, construction, horticulture, plant science, and animal science. The Hallsville FFA program has seen some recent success and is looking for a candidate ready to help the students continue on this path. This position will also be shared with the middle school to offer Intro to Ag to 7th and 8th grade students. The success of creating excitement for Agriculture in the middle level grades is what led to this additional teaching and advising position. A valid Missouri certification in Agriculture Education is required.
