Description:  Academic Program Director Principal Pay based on experience $75 - $80K Lake Ozark, Missouri location Calo Programs is a unique organization comprising an extraordinary group of programs (family intensives, preteen and teen residential treatment centers, and young adult transition programs) all dedicated to healing the effects of early trauma. Calo Lake Ozark student capacity is 144 students across six different programs with a desire for continued expansion and diversification as appropriate. Our unique model facilitates the establishment, deepening, and maintaining healthy and safe relationships that ultimately lead to co-regulation and joy.  Calo is seeking a visionary Academic Director to lead our academic department with creativity, strategic thinking, and a passion for education. The Academic Director will oversee curriculum development, faculty management, and program assessment to ensure the delivery of high-quality educational offerings that meet the needs of our diverse student body. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in academia, exemplary leadership skills, and a commitment to innovation in teaching and learning. Key responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement academic policies and procedures to uphold educational standards and promote student success. 2. Lead the design, review and revision of curriculum and instructional materials to align with industry trends and educational best practices. 3. Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate faculty members to maintain a talented and diverse team of educators. 4. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for faculty to enhance teaching effectiveness. 5. Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into the curriculum. 6. Monitor and assess program outcomes to endure continuous improvement and accreditation compliance. 7. Foster a culture of academic excellence, integrity, and inclusivity among students, faculty, and staff.
Other Information:  1. Principal Certification or qualifications to attain certification.
2. Experience – educational administration experience
3. Education – minimum of a master’s degree, current teaching certification in educational administration.
4. Ability to pass a state and federal background check
