| Description: | The Camdenton R-III School District is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our physical education department at the Middle School (grades 7-8). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct instruction and for maintaining an environment to develop students' understanding of the importance of exercise for physical and mental well-being; and to motivate students to work towards physical fitness, hygiene, and good health. Future coaching assignments are expected to support district programs. If you are passionate about education, possess strong leadership skills, and are committed to making a difference in the lives of young learners, we encourage you to apply. Qualifications: Must possess and maintain a proper Missouri teaching certificate for the area/content to which he or she has been assigned. Complete original transcript of college hours must be placed on file in the superintendent’s office before the beginning of the school year for which the teacher has been hired. Must show competence in the certified subject area. Demonstrate and participate in a variety of physcial activities. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to collaborate with colleagues, analyze student data, and make necessary instructional interventions for student growth that are based on data and best practices in education. Pass all background checks and screenings. | |
