Description:  Director of Accountability and Instruction needed for 2024-2025 school year. Position Title: Director of Accountability and Instruction  Department: School Improvement Reports To: Assistant Superintendent School Improvement Salary Schedule: Director: $109,268/year- $167,855/year; 260 Day Contract SUMMARY:     Position is responsible for analyzing and interpreting assessment data as it relates to Annual Performance Report. Assists in developing, overseeing, and managing day-to-day operations of educational programs and services for the District. Assists with planning, developing, and implementing functions related to curriculum, instruction, assessment, and staff development. Maintain, collect, and organize data related to MSIP6. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Manages and supervises, with the principals, the chairpersons and/or department heads in the areas of K-12 curriculum.  Also assists in supervising a non-certified employee. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include assisting with interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  Educational Specialist or doctorate degree in Education Administration; a minimum of four years school administrative experience ; or equivalent combination of education and experience or as determined by the Board of Education.
