| Description: | The East Carter County R-2 School District is now accepting applications for a High School social studies teacher for the upcoming year. The District is located in Southeast Missouri with an enrollment of approximately 650 students K-12 and is participating in the Governor's $38,000 base initiative and has a generous health benefit plan. The district has a strong technology program to support teachers and students in the learning process. Ellsinore is located in an area with many outdoor activities close by and a four-lane drive to major cities. Various coaching opportunities may also be available. The district will be implementing a 4-day school week beginning with the 2024-2025 school year. Ellsinore is centrally located between Poplar Bluff and the Current River and a short drive to Wappapello and Clearwater Lakes. Applicants are requested to submit the following: Cover Letter, Completed Application, Current Resume, 3 to 5 Letters of Recommendation with current contact information, Copy of Transcripts and Copy of Missouri Certification.
