| Description: | Due to an anticipated retirement the Drexel R-IV School District is accepting applications for the position of K-12 Assistant Principal/Instructional Coach for the 2024-2025 school year. The primary responsibility will be student discipline, instructional coaching, analyzing data to drive instruction and assisting the principal in evaluating some staff. Other responsibilities may include transportation, safety coordinator, food service, special education/federal programs. The duties will be divided between the principal and the assistant principal based on the strengths and experience of each candidate. Drexel operates on a four-day school week. The district provides a 1:1 initiative with students in grades 3-12 using Chromebooks and K-2 students each with access to an iPad. The student population is about 275 K-12, with 35 certified staff members. Drexel R-IV is a rural community with outstanding community support located 30 minutes south of Kansas City.
