Description:  The Director of Enrollment Management and Advancement reports to the Head of Schools of St. Vincent de Paul and is responsible for the planning, management, implementation and evaluation of the enrollment management (retention and recruitment) and advancement (fundraising) efforts at the school. The position is intended to professionalize the critically important, revenue-generating activities. This is a full-time, 12-month position. The Director is responsible for: ADVANCEMENT: ➢ Responsible for planning, developing and executing all advancement activities ➢ Work closely to coordinate overall fundraising in the school with members of the Advancement Committee ➢Oversees major gift cultivation and leads capital campaign efforts ➢ Plan, manage and implement a targeted, segmented, Annual Fund program to raise significant, net revenue from all constituencies. ➢ Build on those efforts to develop a major gift program ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT: ➢ Planning, managing and executing school marketing efforts designed to recruit and retain students. ➢ Managing all data associated with alumni and enrollment (goal setting, building plans to meet those goals, effectively using volunteers, understanding retention rates and the impact of those on setting recruitment goals, understanding the financial implications associated with enrollment, etc.) The Director works closely on a daily basis with the Head of School and is a key member of the administrative staff. He/she is responsible for developing a revenue-generating and program that includes direct mail, e-solicitation, face-to-face solicitation and phone solicitation; constituent relations; engaging volunteers when needed; working with the board; managing data; generating reports and analyzing data to make decisions.The ideal candidate has prior experience in enrollment, development, marketing, sales or another “people-oriented” type of position. He/she must support the mission of the school and Catholic education in general. Should be a self-starter, entrepreneurial, organized and creative while being an excellent and engaged team player. The candidate must have outstanding communication skills across a range of constituents. A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
