Ability to communicate effectively with others. Self motivated, persistent and goal oriented. Connect and engage with a wide variety of people. Ability to work with various computer and bookkeeping systems. Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. Pass a background check that is satisfactory to the Board of Education. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public relations, marketing, communications, non-profit management, or related field preferred. A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications. REPORTS TO:  Assistant Superintendent of Business JOB GOAL: Encouraging success in children and families by bridging the resource gap with Ozark partnerships.  Create and develop partnerships with local businesses and patrons to share the mission of the Ozark School Foundation. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate effectively with local and regional resources. Collaborate effectively with community agencies, counselors, social workers, and other school personnel to program successfully for at-risk students. Provide strong leadership for established foundations, including Ozark Cares Network, Care to Learn, and Ozark School Foundation, including meetings, planning, and events. Prepare financial statements and ability to report to various stakeholders. Oversee all aspects of the Care to Learn backpack program, including food ordering, packing, and distribution. Lead meetings with all district-affiliated programs, including Care to Learn, Ozark Cares, and Operation Half-Pint, and help drive fundraising efforts. Increase Ozark School Foundation's financial assets by planning, coordinating, and implementing all fundraising activities and programs, including the following: a) Identify and obtain individual, corporate, and foundation contributions. b) Build strong relationships through cultivation and stewardship with donors and potential donors. c) Develop, plan, and execute fundraising programs, special events, and campaigns and programs as needed to support the mission of Ozark Schools. Provide strong leadership necessary to achieving programmatic goals in Ozark Schools by cultivating strong relationships with partner organizations, including the District and other community organizations, as necessary, to accomplish the district mission. Collaborate with all stakeholders to develop scholarship programs for students. Participate in community outreach projects to ensure Ozark School Foundation is active in all aspects of the Ozark and surrounding communities. Assist with other duties and special projects as determined by the Superintendent. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires the ability to be mobile with the school district as well as to and from and within outside locations. Ability to lift 50 pounds, as well as bend, twist, and turn with the weight. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 260 days TYPE OF POSITION: Exempt EVALUATION: Asst.
