| Other Information: | Key Job Requirements:
• Master’s degree or higher in education, school counseling, social work, counseling, counseling psychology or a closely related mental health discipline - LCSW, LPC, LCPC preferred • Min 1-2 years counseling youth with school counseling experience at the middle and / or high school level strongly preferred. • Experience supporting students with learning disabilities. • Experience providing crisis intervention services to youth experiencing mental health symptoms. • Previous teaching and / or special education experience preferred. • Strong writing skills as well as communication and interpersonal skills. • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively. • Proven ability to listen and connect with children and families while showing empathy and concern. • Awareness of diversity, equity and inclusion issues related to academic success and college and career readiness. • Understanding of and commitment to the KCA Philosophy and Mission. | |
