| Description: | Fr. Tolton Catholic High School in Columbia, Missouri currently has an opening for the 2022-23 school year for a full-time Accommodations Coordinator / Study Hall Monitor. Responsibilities: * Monitor six periods of study hall classes per day * Organize and schedule day-to-day student accommodations * Proctor, scribe, and/or read test for students as necessary * Manage, maintain, and update accommodations documentation * Participate in parent meetings as necessary * Grow the accommodations program * Utilizes technology to impact student learning and increase communication * Demonstrate support for the mission of Fr. Tolton Catholic High School by attitude, words, actions, and integrity * Assist in maintaining discipline throughout the student body, in adherence to the Student Handbook * Serve with parents, faculty, and student groups, as requested in advancing educational and related activities and objectives * Possibility to sponsor, coach, or supervise extra-curricular activities * Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal Qualification: - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in related field - State teaching licensure/certificate is preferred but not a hiring prerequisite - Familiarity with Google Suite (Gmail, docs, sheets, etc), Google Classroom, and RenWeb/FACTS is preferred - Understands the high school education culture and is able to interact professionally with students, faculty, and parents - Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations Physical Demands and other requirements: - Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding, writing, and reading - Required to monitor students in a variety of locations including those with noise and activity - Required to maintain composure and to communicate appropriately in words and actions | |
