| Description: | Fr. Tolton Catholic High School in Columbia, Missouri currently has an opening for the 2022-23 school year for a part-time Campus Minister. Responsibilities: - Work with President to establish high level goals and strategic plan for the campus ministry department - Oversee, coordinate, and plan the following: - Weekly mass - Monthly First Friday Adoration - Annual class retreats - Service projects, annual Day of Service, and volunteer opportunities for students - Oversee and manage volunteer hour program - Approve hours submitted - Provide status updates to students and parents - Preferably, be able to lead praise and worship at all-school mass and on retreats GENERAL: - Demonstrate support for the mission of Fr. Tolton Catholic High School by attitude, words, actions, and integrity - Assist in maintaining discipline throughout the student body, in adherence to the Student Handbook - Serve with parents, faculty, and student groups, as requested in advancing educational and related activities and objectives - Possibility to sponsor, coach, or supervise extra-curricular activities - May be required to substitute teach as needed - Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal Qualification: - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in related field - Familiarity with Google Suite (Gmail, docs, sheets, etc) - Understands the high school education culture and is able to interact professionally with students, faculty, and parents - Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations Physical Demands and other requirements: - Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding, writing, and reading - Required to monitor students in a variety of locations including those with noise and activity - Required to maintain composure and to communicate appropriately in words and actions | |
