| Description: | Knob Noster Public Schools is seeking dynamic individuals to serve as Paraprofessionals for the 2020-2021 school year. POSITION: Paraprofessional for the 19-20 School Year REPORTS TO: Building Principal and Director of Student Services QUALIFICATIONS: 60 College Credit Hours or Successful completion of the Paraprofessional Assessment http://www.mo.nesinc.com/TestView.aspx?f=HTML_FRAG/SA001_TestPage.html ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: A demonstrated ability to work effectively under the direction of others A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others Ability to organize, be flexible and motivate others Ability to utilize mature and discreet judgment and handle confidential matters Willingness to assume any responsibilities, which are appropriate for the position OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: Must work under the direct supervision of coordinating teacher when supporting instructional or behavioral services May assume limited duties that are assigned to similar personnel, including duties beyond classroom support Assist students to complete instructional activities May be required to assist students with self-care needs Assist in the supervision of students as required to meet individual needs Participate in training activities as required by the District Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Student Services, Principal or Supervising Teacher, which are related to facilitating success Additional duties as assigned Interested applicants should apply online at www.knobnoster.k12.mo.us.
