| Description: | Teacher Assistant needed in Jefferson City to assist the teacher in classroom activities. Share responsibility for the health, education & welfare of children ages 3 to 5 years old. The Head Start program is an early childhood education program with a structured learning environment where staff actively supervise and engage with children. Cell phone use is limited to break times and is not allowed in the classroom. Job Requirements: Prefer CDA (Child Development Associate Credentials) or related Associate’s degree, with 1 year experience working with preschool age children. Interviews aren’t offered to those who have only a high school diploma. Candidate MUST have some college or a CDA and some related work experience to be considered. Full-time, meals provided, and great benefits including generous paid leave, excellent health insurance, and opportunities for advancement. $12 per hour. 8 hours per day Monday-Friday. | |
