| Description: | SCA is accepting applications from candidates to teach high school English classes. Candidates should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in English education. Ideal candidates would have a Master’s degree or at least 18 grad hours in English. Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is a private, non-denominational early ed through 12th grade school in southeast Lee's Summit, MO. Founded in 1989 with 32 elementary students, SCA has a current PS-12th grade enrollment of 825+. SCA offers a highly academic, college-preparatory program that includes more than 60 dual credit classes for high school students. The elementary program includes the Foundations & Frameworks reading curriculum that greatly enhances reading comprehension through critical thinking skills. SCA is dually accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and by AdvancEd.
