| Description: | Lakeland Behavioral Health System, Springfield, Missouri, is a child, adolescent and older adult behavioral health facility. We have both acute hospital and Residential Treatment locations. One of the services we provide is the opportunity for patients and residents to continue their education at the Lakeland School, accredited in Missouri and other states. We have a substitute opening for the 2016 - 2017 Academic year. This position will also have a 32 hours work week for the 8 week Summer Program that commences June 7. Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a Missouri teaching certificate, elementary or secondary, with K-12 certification preferred. Certification required in at least one of the following: English, Language Arts, Reading and/or Communication Arts. Preferred: Advanced degree, special education endorsement, broad based experience working with challenging students and record of successful teaching experience. This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door in the event we would have a full-time position open up in the future. | |
