| Description: | The Green Ridge and Cole Camp school districts are collaborating to share a rootEd advisor for the 2022-2023 school year. This is a grant funded position under the American Rescue Plan. The purpose of this position is to partner with our school counselors to coach high school students in developing their individual career and academic plans beyond high school. Qualifications for this position include: -Bachelor’s degree (preferably in education, social work or other related field) -Successful completion of background check Essential job duties include but are not limited to: -Proactively building relationships with students -Meeting regularly with students individually to build and implement a post-graduation plan, including using the Individual Career and Academic Plans (ICAP) as a guide -Consistently supporting all seniors through each stage of the financial aid process -Collaborating closely with high school counselors to support students -Problem solving for the needs of individual students with the rootEd Missouri team -Ability to serve two communities This will be a full time position split between Green Ridge and Cole Camp.
