| Description: | The Chilhowee R-IV School District is accepting applications for a Bookkeeper/Central Office Administrative Assistant. Successful applicants must have prior bookkeeping experience. Experience with school bookkeeping is preferred, but not required. Experience with the SISFIN financial management software is also preferred, but not required. Our bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining payroll, benefits, accounts payable, and maintaining the general ledger in accordance with the statutes and regulations of the State of Missouri relative to school finance. This is a 12-month, 40-hour per week, salaried position. Benefits include board paid health insurance, life insurance, paid personal leave, and paid vacation. Chilhowee School is a member of the Missouri Educators Unified Health Plan (MEUHP) through which offers an assortment of additional benefits to our district employees. Chilhowee R-IV offers 1:1 technology and promotes a culture of family, team, and unity. The Chilhowee District is located in South Central Johnson County on highway 2 approximately 15 to 20 miles from Warrensburg, Clinton, Holden, and Knob Noster, and 40 minutes from Lee’s Summit. The successful candidate will need a background check (the district will pay for background checks), and the necessary documents listed below.
