Springfield Catholic Schools System is made up of 3 elementary schools and 1 high school. Description: We are looking for a faith filled, self-motivated and engaging teacher to join our qualified team of educators. Our teachers are responsible for cultivating our students’ spiritual formation, academic development, and interest in life-long learning. Through the preparation of creative, rigorous, and captivating lessons, teachers aim to educate students at all levels. Teachers must be able to instruct in a variety of subjects. Springfield Catholic Schools is looking for Christ centered, competent professionals with in-depth knowledge of their class subject, who use best teaching practices. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep personal faith and interpersonal abilities. Duties include: Supports and implements the philosophy of a Catholic education. Participates in building faith community Demonstrates evidence of prior planning and preparation. Uses effective teaching techniques, strategies during lessons. Demonstrates knowledge of curriculum and subject matter. Uses instructional time efficiently, and effectively. Evaluates student progress Provides for individual differences. Collaborates with content area teachers on cross-curricular assignments. Promotes an environment in which all students feel free to participate.
