| Description: | ALTON HIGH SCHOOL is seeking a highly qualified MATH TEACHER to join our team for the 2024-2025 School Year. We are looking for a passionate math teacher who is committed to fostering a positive, engaging learning environment. RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: Developing and implementing a comprehensive math curriculum for high school students aligned with state standards; Effectively employ a variety of researched-based instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students; Consistently assess student progress and provide timely feedback as well as implement interventions to support student success; Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning; Regularly collaborate with colleagues to enhance instruction and contribute to the overall math program; and Effectively communicate with parents regarding student progress and the students overall needs. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or related field and Valid MO Teaching Certificate. FULL BENEFITS are included.
