Description: | Description: The Lathrop R-II School District is seeking certified applicants for a full time High School Counselor for the 2023-24 school year. Job responsibilities would include, but not limited to, scheduling student classes, assisting the building principal in developing the master schedule, testing coordinator (ACT, EOC, etc.), student scholarships, and college and career guidance. Lathrop High School is part of the Lathrop R-II School District which is located in Lathrop, MO. Lathrop is fortunate enough to have the small town feel with the convenience of being by a large city. Lathrop is located off of I-35 and is approximately thirty minutes north of Kansas City. Lathrop High School has approximately 300 students in grades 9-12. The district is on a 4 day school week (Tuesday-Friday) with professional development in-services for staff occurring on Mondays (approximately one a month). Lathrop High School was built in 2008, and the sports complex, which includes, turf football field, 8 lane all weather track, softball and baseball field, plus a multi-purpose building, was built in 2015.
