| Description: | The Macon R-1 School District is seeking qualified applicants for multiple positions in the area of K-12 Special Education teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants must have a valid Missouri Teaching Certificate or a detailed plan to obtain certification within 2 years. Macon R-1 School District is a high achieving school district that provides many different approaches to learning for students with disabilities. Our district is in the process of becoming trauma informed, we have certified registered behavior technicians onsite, behavior certified board analysis support, multi training options/programs, alternatives for services in academics, as well as functioning and social developmental support. Coaching opportunities are available. Applicants must be able to create a learning environment where each student can learn and succeed to the best of their abilities; create working relationships with students, faculty, and parents.
