| Description: | Strafford R-VI Schools is seeking student-centered, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable teaching candidates for an Academic Intervention Teacher for the 2022 – 2023 school year. The successful candidate will maintain high expectations for student performance, provide engaging instruction and activities, and use strategies to encourage positive behavior in classroom management. The candidate will: - Create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth -Establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom -Motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each student, every day - Collaborate with classroom teachers regularly to provide support This position may provide social emotional support and instruction to assigned students Strafford Public Schools is committed to adult learning, meaningful collaboration among team members, and exceptional job satisfaction.
