| Description: | Southern Boone Middle School in Ashland, Missouri is seeking an energetic, student-centered Assistant Principal for 2024-2025 school year. The applicant must be a positive, enthusiastic, team player and leader dedicated to student achievement and achieving a school climate conducive to both student and staff excellence. The candidate must have a valid Missouri administrative certificate. Southern Boone Middle School is looking for a candidate with strong communication skills who is capable of working with students, staff, and parents. The assistant principal will demonstrate the ability to help our school continue to grow through the Professional Learning Communities model and needs to be skilled in the area of helping students make good choices and be successful along with maintaining and enforcing discipline throughout the school environment. Other job responsibilities include assisting as instructional leader, supporting curricular efforts within our Standards Based Grading system, assisting in the day to day operations of the middle school, and leading/assisting in the implementation of PBS with fidelity throughout the middle school. The Assistant Principal acts as Principal during times when the Principal is out of the building. Development, involvement and supervision in after-school activities is required. | |
