Description:  The Dexter R-XI School District is currently accepting certified applications for the 2024-2025 school year for a High School Counseling position. The applicant must: 1) Possess the proper Missouri certification in school counseling 2) Hold a master's degree in counseling 3) Have the ability to support students by cooperatively working with parents/guardians and teachers 4) Provide a comprehensive compentency-based couseling program focused on the learning, persona/social, and career/vocational needs of all students. 5) Must have the ability to effectively organize materials, time, and tasks and have effective oral, written and interpersonal skills. 6) Comply with the laws of the state of Missouri 7) Comply with district policies, regulations, and administrative directives Please go to the Dexter website at dexter.k12.mo.us to apply online. Starting teacher pay is $38,000, and salary is based upon years of experience and education. Contracts are extended 10 days with employee Board-paid insurance and benefits.
