Description:  The Moniteau County R-1 School District (California, MO) has a vacancy for the Assistant Elementary School Principal for the 2024-2025 school year. Successful candidates must possess strong administrative and instructional leadership skills, a minimum of four (4) years of teaching experience, as well as, demonstrate excellent skills in written and verbal communications. The Assistant Principal has major responsibilities in the following areas: Lead disciplinarian for the building • Creating student-centered school climate • Supervising classroom instruction, curriculum implementation and student assessment • Selecting, developing and evaluating teachers In addition, the candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with students, staff and parents. Applicants must possess or be eligible for a Missouri Elementary Principal’s Certificate. MUST ATTACH RESUME, TRANSCRIPTS AND THREE (3) LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION.
