| Description: | East Carter County R-2 is seeking applicants for the 12-month position of Network Administrator. This position is responsible for all aspects of the district’s computer network, including software support, configuring, maintaining and proactively upgrading hardware systems as necessary to meet student and staff needs. This position is responsible for obtaining competitive bids for equipment and services. This position is also responsible for the application and completion of any and all grants and reports necessary to maintain the network’s compliance with state and federal guidelines for network operation, including CIPA compliance. This position serves the needs of the entire district, works collaboratively with all district administration and reports directly to the Superintendent of Schools. The district will begin a 4-day school week in 2024-2025 and offers a very competitive salary schedule and health benefit plan, currently covering both PPO and HSA options for staff. The district is located in an area which is close to multiple outdoor recreation activies including hiking, hunting, fishing, and boating. Compensation for the position is commensurate with experience. A four-year degree and/or extensive training/experience in a networked technology-related field is preferred.
