| Description: | The Norwood R-I School District is accepting applications for a Kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year. Norwood School operates on a 4-day week schedule (Mondays off). Interested applicants should have a valid certificate in Elementary grades Birth-3rd grade. Prior elementary classroom teaching experience is preferred, but not required. Our salary schedule allows all years of experience to transfer in. The district is seeking a highly motivated individual to join a team that is committed to high expectations and fulfilling the District’s mission. Our elementary is a PBIS silver medal school. We are looking for an educator who can create a flexible classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth; establish good relationships with students, parents and staff, utilize research-based teaching strategies in the classroom, meet student’s educational needs and guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals. | |
