| Description: | The Newburg R-II School District is accepting applications for a High School Math Teacher for the 2024-25 school year. Our district has approximately 370 students in grades PreK-12. EOE To express interest or complete your application process, please email Mrs. Kingsley at tkingsley@newburg.k12.mo.us or mail a completed certified staff application, resume, and a copy of your certification to: Newburg R-2 School District 701 Wolf Pride Drive Newburg, MO 65550 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * To create a flexible instructional program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth. * To establish effective rapport with students assigned to the classroom. * To motivate students to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to ensure that effective learning occurs for each child, every day. * To provide positive feedback and encouragement for students. * To facilitate an environment that promotes academic success, social growth, and well-being of all students. * To implement a variety of teaching techniques, strategies, materials, and technology to maximize the learning of each child, individually and in group settings. * To assess student progress, provide students and parents with specific feedback regarding progress, and use the data to adjust instruction as needed. * To perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervising administrators. The most significant duties have been included in this description. This does not preclude the assignment of additional or supplemental duties.
