The Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking a highly qualified and collaborative educational leader for the position of Middle School Principal. The candidate must possess insight and compassion with a focus on the unique needs of all learners and have an ability to work with teachers to build an inclusive learning community with a healthy climate and positive culture. Key Position Responsibilities Build positive relationships and culture with all stakeholders Administer school operational policies and procedures Interpret and enforce district policies and administrative regulations Collect, maintain, and report data regarding students as required Design, coordinate, and implement trauma informed practices Provide leadership, guidance, mentoring for middle school educators Work with students and families to develop individual student academic growth plans Evaluate and support assigned staff members Commit to work hours necessary to meet established goals for school improvement Regularly attend and supervise evening school functions Qualifications: Master's Degree in Educational Administration (Specialist or Doctorate preferred) Appropriate Principal Certification Salary Range: Administrative Salary Schedule Grade C dependent on previous experience. Additional $3,000 annual stipend if Doctorate is held. Length of Contract: 219 days Benefits: District paid employee medical, dental, and life insurance (with option to purchase coverage for spouse, children, or family after 30 days of employment). Employee option to purchase voluntary benefits including vision insurance, short term disability, long term disability and other supplemental insurance policies. 10 days Paid Time Off per year. District matched retirement contribution of 14.5% to Public School Retirement System (PSRS). | |
