| Description: | Galena High School is seeking an Agriculture Teacher/FFA Sponsor for the 2024-2025 school year. The Galena High School FFA Chapter has been recognized as a Gold Emblem Chapter for the state of Missouri for the past two years and has a strong membership among the student body. In addition to a 9-month teaching salary, Galena Ag teachers receive extended pay for summer as well as a stipend for FFA. Our school district operates under a four-day school week (Tuesday-Friday). The District added a daycare facility that is available for Galena R-II employees at a very reasonable cost. The ideal candidate will possess skills to work with children and families from diverse backgrounds. Candidates will need to have proper certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
