| Description: | The Fordland R-3 School District is currently seeking qualified applicants for the Middle/High School Assistant Principal position for the 2024-25 school year. This position will also assist in the day-to-day operations of the district transportation department. The Fordland School District is comprised of 300 6-12 students and is located 15 minutes east of Springfield, Missouri. Fordland will be on a 4-day school week 150-student day contract for the 2024-25 school year. Applicants must possess appropriate Missouri DESE certification. Previous experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate should be capable of being a team member who will work hard to increase academic achievement, be energetic, and show a high level of enthusiasm. Relationships, relevance, and student success are the key focus of Fordland R-3 School District. Interested applicants should submit the following documentation on the Fordland R-3 jobs website: letter of interest, resume, transcript, letters of reference, copy of certificate(s), and completed Fordland application. QUALIFICATIONS: Baccalaureate Degree and a Master's Degree in Education with courses adaptable to secondary school supervision and administration. Valid Secondary Principal's Certificate from the State Department of Education. Must be able to apply for and obtain your CDL. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to sit for long periods and be mobile within and between school buildings. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 200 days TYPE OF POSITION: Exempt EVALUATION: Evaluated annually by the building administrator. | |
