| Description: | Qualifications: Applicant must possess a valid Missouri Teaching Certificate. Specific PLTW training is also required, but can be obtained after hire. Job Requirements: The Table Rock Career Center is seeking someone who can come help start a brand new program in a NEW State-of-the-Art facility! Reeds Spring School District is searching for a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering teacher for the new TRCC set to open in the Fall of 2024. We are looking for a student-centered teacher that will empower students to adopt a problem-solving mindset and make the leap from dreamers to doers. The PLTW Engineering curriculum engages students in compelling, real world challenges that help them become better collaborators and thinkers, and helps prepare them with skills to step into any career path they choose. This position is open to any initial teaching certification. Specific PLTW Engineering training will be required and provided by the District. Training and mentorship with fellow PLTW trained teachers already on staff will also be provided. The Table Rock Career Center is located in Reeds Spring located 30 minutes from Springfield on beautiful Table Rock Lake. The Table Rock Career Center serves ten (10) area sending schools and the District serves communities of Reeds Spring, Branson West, Kimberling City, Cape Fair, and Indian Point. The Reeds Spring School District has a competitive salary schedule, offers additional benefits, and operates on a four-day school week. This is a new position for the Table Rock Career Center Engineering program beginning 2024-25. | |
