Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse student populations and a commitment to personalized, hands-on instruction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students who thrive in non-traditional educational settings. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs and interests of individual students. • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected. • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles, social emotional supports, and abilities. • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners to support student success and well-being. • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to guide further learning. • Participate in professional development activities to continuously improve teaching practices and stay current with best practices in alternative education. • Collect data on goals for Individual Education Plans (IEPs) • Provide direction for paraprofessional and RBT Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. • Valid teaching certification/license. • Experience working with at-risk youth or in alternative education settings is strongly preferred. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners. • Passion for working with students who may have faced challenges in traditional school environments.
