Description:  Location: Forsyth R-III Company/Organization: Tri-Lakes Cooperative Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children who have special needs and a strong commitment to providing high-quality education in an inclusive environment. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. • Collaborate with parents, other teachers, and specialists to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. • Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. • Provide direct instruction, support, and interventions as needed to help students achieve their goals. • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations. • Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and parent conferences. • Foster positive relationships with students and families to support their overall development and well-being. • Supervision of paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field • Valid state teaching license/certification in Early Childhood Special Education. • Experience working with young children with special needs, including knowledge of best practices in early intervention and developmentally appropriate teaching strategies. • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
