| Description: | The Lewis County C-1 School District (Highland) is seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic, and engaging candidates with proper Missouri certification to teach at Highland Elementary School (HES) for the 2024-2025 school year. HES is a Pre-K through 6th grade Title 1 building with approximately 530 students. HES utilizes Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and multi-tiered systems of supports (MTSS) to positively assist all students in their educational journey. As a building and district, we are committed to the Professional Learning Communities (PLC) model. Collaboration and data analysis focused on student growth is at the core of what we do. HES is located just outside of Ewing, right off of highway 6 in Lewis County, Missouri and is centrally located to larger cities (approximately 20-25 miles from Hannibal, Canton, and Quincy (IL) and 50 miles east of Kirksville). **PLEASE NOTE: Coaching opportunities within the district may be available for interested candidates, but are not a requirement. | |
