Description: | The Newtown-Harris R-III School District is currently accepting applications for Superintendent of Schools for the 2024-2025 school year. Both full- and part-time applicants will be considered. Please indicate your preference in your letter of interest. Salary will be in the range of $65,000 to $80,000 for 1.0 FTE. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Newtown-Harris R-III is a small, rural school in north central Missouri that has great students, traditions, and community support. The district operates on a 4-day school week. Newtown-Harris R-III is one of the ten DCI/MTSS pilot schools; a Cohort 3 SRSN participant; utilizes NEE teacher evaluation tool; co-ops with Grundy County (baseball, softball, basketball, track, cross country, color guard, band) and Princeton R-V (football); and, attends NCCC in Bethany for CTE. Employment benefits include board paid life and health insurance, maternity leave, and bereavement leave. Salary will be based on experience and education.
