| Description: | The Missouri Association of Rural Education has been retained by the Rich Hill R-IV Board of Education to conduct a search for a Superintendent of Schools. Rich Hill R-IV School District is located in Bates County (Rich Hill) in West Central Missouri. School District Information: Elementary Schools (1) - (PK-05) Certified Staff 17 Student Enrollment 172 High School (06-12) Certified Staff 17 Student Enrollment 199 Total Certified Staff (34)/Total Student Enrollment (371) Annual Operating Budget $5,401,984.00 Total Tax Levy - $4.4269 Assessed Valuation - $33,504,449.00 Reserve Balances 41.96% Administrators 3 Support Staff 32 MSIP: Fully Accredited District Operated Transportation District Operated Food Service Other Programs: o Parents as Teachers o 156 Teacher Days o FFA/AG Program, FCCLA, FBLA, NHS o A+ Program/Dual Credit with MSU/UCM o Athletics & Activities WEMO Conference o Nevada Regional Technical Center (NRTC) Application Time Line: Applications must be received by Friday, October 9, 2026 Screening to begin Ongoing during the application period Interviews Tentative Date October 16, 2026 & October 17, 2026 Anticipated Contract Offer No later than October 30, 2026 Contract Begins July 1, 2027 Salary/Benefits Information: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience: Salary Range: $95,000.00 -$135,000.00 Administrative experience required/ Central Office administrative experience preferred. Missouri Superintendents Certificate or eligibility thereof required. Board paid health and life insurance benefits provided. Initial two-year contract will be offered.
