| Description: | School Year: 2026–2027 Butler High School is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant High School Girls Wrestling Coach. This position is responsible for fostering a positive team culture, promoting sportsmanship, and supporting the academic and personal growth of student-athletes. Responsibilities: Plan and lead daily practices for HS student-athletes Organize and supervise competitions and team travel Teach and reinforce the fundamentals of wrestling Promote a positive, inclusive, and disciplined team environment Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff Ensure compliance with school, district, and state athletic association policies Support student-athletes’ academic success and character development Qualifications: Prior coaching experience preferred Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to work effectively with high school students Current CPR/AED and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Completion of all required background checks and coaching certifications Compensation: Stipend based on experience and district guidelines | |
